We will only process such information for appropriate and lawful purposes connected with providing the requested service, where permitted by law and where the necessary legal basis or consent applies.
We will not sell your health or coaching information.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as PayFast.
FTW does not need to retain your complete card details where payment processing is handled by the payment provider.
Payment providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and security procedures.
We may retain information about your transaction, such as:

- product purchased;
- payment status; and
- transaction reference.
8. Coaching Platforms
If you purchase a coaching service, we may provide your information to or process your information through the third-party platforms required to deliver that service.
This may include Everfit or other coaching platforms used by FTW.
Information provided to such platforms may include information necessary to:
- create your profile;
- provide programme access;
- deliver training;
- manage check-ins;
- monitor progress; and
- provide coaching services.
Third-party platforms have their own privacy policies and terms.
9. WhatsApp
Where WhatsApp is used for client communication or community support, information may be processed through WhatsApp’s systems.
Please be aware that WhatsApp is a third-party service and its own privacy terms apply.
If you participate in a WhatsApp group, other group members may be able to see information associated with your WhatsApp account, such as your display name and profile information, depending on your WhatsApp settings.
Do not share information in a community group that you consider highly private or confidential.
10. Email and Marketing
If you subscribe to the FTW newsletter, we may use your email address to send educational and promotional communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by:
- clicking the unsubscribe link contained in the email; or
- contacting us directly.

- unlawful processing.

The Information Regulator also emphasises the importance of appropriate security measures when personal information is processed.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

- the purpose for which it was collected;
- whether you remain a client;

There may also be circumstances where we are legally permitted or required to continue processing information despite withdrawal of consent.

We respect your right to control marketing communications.
If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the relevant communication.
We will not deliberately continue sending promotional communications where you have validly opted out, subject to communications that are necessary for an existing transaction or service.
South African electronic-transactions legislation also contains rules concerning unsolicited commercial communications and the ability of consumers to opt out.
20. Accuracy of Information
We rely on clients to provide accurate and current information.
If your personal information changes, you may contact us to request that it be updated.
We may also ask you to verify information where reasonably necessary.
21. Children’s Information
FTW’s services are generally intended for adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of providing adult coaching services without an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, the involvement or consent of a competent person.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to FTW improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate.
POPIA contains specific protections concerning children’s information, and certain processing of children’s information is subject to additional restrictions. The Information Regulator also identifies children’s information as an area requiring particular protection.

If FTW becomes aware of a security compromise involving personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain and address the incident.
Where notification is legally required, we will notify affected data subjects and/or the Information Regulator in accordance with applicable law.

Our website may contain links to external websites.
This Privacy Policy does not govern those external websites.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party website before submitting personal information.
